The Commons

There is a link on the right for The Commons that Dr. William Camp proposed at the 2009 AAAE Conference. This resource is as good as we make it, please contribute, explore, and use as you see fit. You must log in to add contribute files.

Version 2.1

Version 2.1 of the AAAE Website is up and running, and it has undergone a few changes. These changes include:
1. You need to log in to contribute to this site. Once you log in you will see an "Add File" link at the top of pages that you are allowed to contribute to.
2. Once logged in you can add files to The Commons, Job Postings, Leadership Teams, etc. and you can edit your directory profile.
3. If you are logged in and you contributed a file than you will see a "delete" button next to that file. Only the person who uploads the file has the "delete" link available to them.
4. Because of the number of different programs that members use there is not an option to edit a file after it has been uploaded. If you added a file and need to edit it download the file, edit it, re-upload the edited version of the file and then delete the old version of the file.

Goals of AAAE

Serve as an advocate for improvement of teaching and learning in agriculture. Provide a forum to address issues in agricultural education. Provide an approach to identifying, prioritizing, and organizing research in teaching and learning. Provide opportunities for individual and organizational growth, development, and renewal. Provide opportunities to communicate the results of research and other scholarly activities. Provide opportunities for collaboration within and outside of agricultural education. Provide for recruiting, inducting, and mentoring people into the profession.
