Extension Education - Domestic and Global Special Interest Group

 This page is a place where EESIG leaders and members can:

  1. Learn and revisit our group’s goal, core values, and objectives

SIG Objectives

  1. Increase participation in EESIG programs, including in other social science, agriculture, and related scientific disciplines, thus assisting in membership recruitment for the greater AAAE organization
  2. Increase collaboration among EESIG members as well as with students and faculty of other SIGs and AAAE Committees.
  3. Increase the impact of our scholarship through dialoguing, planning, and carrying out significant research reflecting factors affecting the quality of Extension Education – Domestic and Global efforts in Agriculture and related Science fields in the Social Sciences.

Goal

The goal of the Extension Education–Domestic and Global Special Interest Group (EESIG) is to empower AAAE members to discover and dialogue about outreach, research, and education of youth, adults, families, and communities throughout the world that can result in evidence-based resolutions posed by agricultural and associated science problems.
