Quick Conference InformationJoin us in Champaign, Illinois, on the campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to collaborate with colleagues at the North Central AAAE conference. Conference activities will take place primarily at the Illini Union, located at the heart of campus steps from the main quad and campus town. Hotel rooms are a short walk at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott. The hotel’s spacious suites include separate living and sleeping areas and fully equipped kitchens as well as complimentary breakfast. This is the 8th year of a collaborative conference partnership of 1890 land-grant universities, 1862 land-grant universities, and public and private universities that are focused on developing people in and through agriculture, food, natural resources, and human sciences. This collaborative partnership combines the 2026 North Central AAAE Conference and the National Conference on Learner-Centered Teaching (NCLCT). NCLCT focuses on building capacities among Historically Black Colleges & Universities and Predominately White Institutions. |

The NCLCT and M.E.N.T.O.R. projects focus on building capacities among Historically Black Colleges & Universities and Predominately White Institutions. | RegistrationThe National Learner-Centered Teaching Partnership provides pedagogical support and energizes professors to teach more diverse student populations and improves their productivity and the educational quality of all students. The Partnership works to build a sense of community and develop synergistic ideas to prepare faculty at 1890 land-grant universities and HBCUs (historically Black Colleges and Universities) to adopt and integrate learner-centered instruction for enhancing student learning across food, agricultural, and human sciences.
