The award supports Southern Region faculty and student members traveling to the Southern Region and National AAAE Conferences. Members are encouraged to nominate deserving colleagues across the Southern Region. Self-nominations are also welcome and encouraged. AWARD CATEGORIES Each of the three Outstanding Awards has its own application form. SUBMIT AN APPLICATION Completed applications must be submitted electronically through the AAAE Award Submission Portal. Previous recipients of Southern Region awards can be viewed on the Southern Region Award History page. PLANNING TO SUBMIT A NOMINATION? To help ensure members are recognized across all award categories, members planning to nominate themselves or a colleague are encouraged to email Shelli Rampold by October 30th with the nominee’s name and award category. This step is not required to submit an application, but will help identify categories that may need additional nominations.
