2021 Conference Business Meeting Minutes ProceedingsAbout the ConferenceThis is the 4th consecutive year of a collaborative conference partnership of 1890 land-grant universities, 1862 land-grant universities, and public and private universities who are focused on developing people in and through agriculture, food, natural resources, and human sciences. This collaborative partnership combines three groups into one integrated conference: (1) 2022 North Central AAAE Conference; (2) National Conference on Learner-Centered Teaching (NCLCT); and, (3) the M.E.N.T.O.R. Convening. The NCLCT and M.E.N.T.O.R. projects focus on building capacities among Historically Black Colleges & Universities and Predominately White Institutions. NC-AAAE Conference information The conference will be held at a LEED-Certified hotel that is right on Broadway in downtown Columbia. We will be surrounded by the District's restaurants and bars and only blocks from the University of Missouri where we will spend part of the conference. You will enjoy city views from the eighth-floor rooftop bar and every stay starts with a Doubletree signature warm chocolate chip cookie. | Registration

Substitutions are accepted. Full reimbursement of conference registration fees will be provided up to 21 days prior to the first day of the conference, which is Sept. 16, 2022. Family emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the AAAE Executive Committee. Requests for reimbursement must be made to Dr. Shannon Arnold, AAAE Treasurer. The Multi-Institutional Empowering Network for Transforming Organizational Culture works to build a sense of community and develop synergistic ideas to implement innovative campus-based inclusive and intentional mentoring programs to create a supportive culture that will increase the recruitment and retention of underrepresented minorities in food, agricultural, natural resources, and human (FANH) sciences disciplines.
